Kids Climbing Wall Holds are the perfect way to customise your child’s indoor climbing wall and keep play exciting as they grow. Designed to work seamlessly with Ako Playrooms’ hexagonal and rectangular climbing wall panels, these holds can be rearranged to create new routes, adjust difficulty levels, and support ongoing skill development.

Each purchase includes a set of 5 climbing holds in one colour, complete with 5 bolts designed to fit securely into the pre-installed T-nuts of Ako Playrooms’ climbing panels. A fastening tool (sold separately) is available in the Ako Shop to make installation quick and easy.

You can order multiple sets to mix and match colours for a vibrant wall design. For example, it is recommended that one rectangular climbing panel uses 2 sets (10 holds) to create the best climbing experience for kids. And one Hexagonal climbing panel uses 1 sets (5 holds) to create the best climbing experience for kids.

Available in a variety of colours and ergonomic shapes, the holds provide a secure grip for little hands while building strength, balance, coordination, and confidence. Crafted from durable, child-safe polyurethane with zinc-plated steel washers, Ako Playrooms Climbing Holds are built to last through years of active play.

Specifications

A set of 5 child-friendly climbing holds in varied shapes, designed to suit smaller hands and support confident grip development. Moulded from high-quality resin for durability and safety. Each hold includes an M10 bolt for secure installation into the pre-installed T-nuts on Ako Playrooms’ rock climbing panels. Not compatible with other wall types unless correctly fitted with matching T-nut systems and structural backing. Designed for safe indoor use when fixed into Ako Playrooms panels

Fixings Included: M10 bolts for use with compatible T-nuts.

*Not suitable for installation on plasterboard or walls without structural reinforcement and proper fixings.
Warranty

All products come with a 6-month warranty covering manufacturing faults.

 We will request photos of any issues and determine the appropriate remedy (e.g., replacement).

 This warranty does not cover general wear and tear, improper use, or damage caused during self-installation.

Rock climbing holds must only be installed into compatible panels with pre-installed M10 T-nuts (minimum 18–19 mm structural plywood). Each hold must be securely fastened using the supplied M10 bolts. Installation into non-compatible surfaces or using alternative fixings is unsafe and not permitted. These holds are designed for supervised indoor use only and must be checked regularly for signs of wear, damage, or loosening. Holds must be installed by a competent person following the installation guidelines provided. Misuse, improper installation, or exceeding weight limits can result in serious injury. By installing or using these products, the user accepts full responsibility for safe use and installation. Ako Playrooms accepts no liability for any injury, damage, or failure resulting from misuse, overloading, incorrect installation, or alteration of components. Fall protection (e.g. crash mats) is strongly recommended beneath all climbing installations
