Brothers’ Shared Bedroom — Residential | Canberra

This shared bedroom uses a custom L-shaped sleeping and play structure to give two brothers individual beds and a large connected play loft. Both lower beds remain dedicated sleeping spaces, while the upper level uses the room’s height for constructive play, small-world play, reading and downtime.

Cargo-style netting encloses the loft while maintaining visibility across the room. Display compartments and tiered shelving provide dedicated places for vehicles, LEGO builds and play scenes, while a cushioned nook and forward-facing book ledges create a quieter retreat. Integrated ladders connect the levels, with monkey bars and rock-climbing panels extending active play into the surrounding space. Natural plywood, tonal greens, deep blue textiles and crocodile wallpaper create a consistent visual identity across the sleeping and play zones.
